Nicole Witts and Head 1st For Brain Tumour Research joined representatives from other brain tumour charities to mark Wear A Hat Day on 25th March 2011.

Wear A Hat Day encourages individuals, firms and organizations to come together to raise funds for research into brain tumours, which are now the chief cancer killer in British children. By supporting research centres around the UK, Nicole and her colleagues hope to see a cure to these terrible cancers, improvements in treatment and patient care.

The response to this year’s Wear A Hat Day campaign has been worldwide, with participants from as far away as Hong Kong.

Help has come from famous quarters – MPs Andrew Selous (our fantastic Patron who has done so much for us) and John Bercow, the milliner Philip Treacy and football star Leroy Primus.

Thank you so much to all who supported our Wear A Hat Day on Friday 25th March, the money and photos are rolling in.
It is thanks to people like you that we will be able to research better treatments and improve outcomes for brain tumour patients.
