    Brain Cancer charities in the UK support a range of help services which you can draw upon whether you are a patient, a carer, a friend or a relative. There are telephone helplines, email help addresses, online forums, support groups and special funds.

    Special Funds

    The Denny Care and Relief Fund was founded in1998 to provide financial assistance to those diagnosed with a brain tumour and their affected families or carers with a view to enabling them to enjoy an improved quality of life and independence in the community. Following submission of an application form and supporting documentation, and consideration by the Fund’s Assessment Panel, one-off grants of up to £500 may be awarded. The Fund is administered by Brain Tumour UK – contact them on 0845 4500 386.
