• Wear A Hat Day in March 2011 – Brain Tumour Awareness Month

An important message from Nicole Witts and Sue Farrington-Smith

We would be extremely grateful if you could help us in raising desperately needed funds for brain tumour research.

All we are asking you to do is hold a ‘wear a hat for brain tumours’ day.

Quite simply all this entails is your work colleagues and staff wearing a hat of their choice into work on Friday March 25th or a day of your choice and donating a pound (or more if they so wish) to go towards brain tumour research.

    • In the UK, brain tumours kill more children than leukaemia or any other cancer
    • More women under the age of 35 than breast or any other cancer
    • More men under the age of 45 than prostate or any other cancer
    • Yet brain tumour research receives less than 1% of national cancer research spending

For more information please visit our umbrella group’s website at  www.braintumourresearch.org

We have taken the liberty of uploading our posters here and here in the hope that you will be able to help us.

If you wish to contact me please feel free to do so by either calling Sue at Brain Tumour Research on 01296 733011 or email sue@braintumourresearch.org

I would be grateful if you could contact us via the contact form on our website to let me know whether or not you will be willing to take part in this fun fundraising event.

All monies raised please send a cheque made payable to ‘Brain Tumour Research’ and forward it to:
