Waitrose Community Matters – The “Green Token” Scheme

Leighton Buzzard Waitrose and Nicole Witts joined forces to start 2010 with a fundraising drive via the Waitrose Community Matters Scheme. Shoppers deposit green tokens which they are given at the till, and their donations go to the nominated charity of their choice.
£360 was raised in only 4 weeks! Thanks go to MP Andrew Selous, Terry the manager at Waitrose, and everyone who chose to help the fight against brain tumours as they shopped!
